the research deepens. i've started watching some videos, a few backlog things i was meaning to watch anyways. i'm not deliberately learning a lot as fast as possible, but i definitely have an interest in increasing my knowledge of constructed languages to try to catch up to these friends who are able to talk to each other about more complicated design features of conlangs. it's also really interesting to see how old conlangs have common pitfalls and what to look out for when designing your own
