i got an email explaining that a long-awaited interview process is reaching its final round of review first thing next week, and an email is well on its way to deciding whether i get a new job offer or not.
simultaneously, that unreal class i was taking with others was cancelled for the third time in a row, and our host has not done a very good job of keeping people up to date (or admitting that they're just tired of hosting it, which i would honestly be fine hearing). so i guess i have to put the accountability for learning unreal out of my mind, since it's no longer a guaranteed thing.
most of my free time today was researching some tech stuff for family, but i did find an opportunity to do some gamedev-related reading. it was tangentially helpful for code design, but was mostly a thought-provoking exercise.
