haha so of course, after the first stressful day of three, i get home, do a little work, and then the burden of opening Godot falls upon me. i fail to do this because i want to play Minecraft 1.18 and try to learn Mekanism version 10. my goal, obviously, is to have fun...
which is why i spent about 6 hours learning some cool stuff about TypeScript and programming this: https://replit.com/@paradoxrevolver/Fwends-Minecraft-118-Reactor-Plan?v=1
which breaks out a plan i have for a power system into all of its individual pieces so that others on the server can help me complete a massive check list. people were looking for things to do, we're low on power, this made sense.
did the replit save me any time? hm.... i would've said "no" and laughed but honestly crunching these numbers by hand would've been prone to a lot more human error, and now i can see exactly how things need to be crafted up so. i kind of feel like a winner. plus i learned a new programming language and have replit as a very clean tool for sandboxing future code stuff.... pretty nice Monday, i gotta say.
i need to just open Godot for gods sake
