today, i made walking around work the way it's supposed to. the camera still jitters every frame due to some syncing problem between Update and FixedUpdate, which i never remember how to fix efficiently. but the feel of movement is about right now, so i can focus on getting other animations working. i should also start thinking about the grounded / falling states.
this robot i did actually model myself, which is where most of my work has been since April 29th. the organization of textures and the rig is messy and basic, but that was my goal with this prototype! i'm using mixamo for all of these animations, to try to get as deep into the technical parts of this game before fleshing anything else out.
