I'm slowly figuring out the pacing on this piece. At the end of my last writing session I figured out what was wrong with what I'd done so far and left myself some "breadcrumbs" to figure things out. I followed some of that trail today. I'm hearing things more clearly now...so if I can maintain this steak every day, I know I can get some momentum up in this piece. Or something like that.

No sound files...this all exists in old-school pencil on old-school paper.

Got some good time in this morning.

It's important at this point to compose the thing that's going to be the driving force for pacing of a section. I finished the "skeleton" of that section. Tomorrow's time (or maybe even tonight's if I'm lucky) is for filling in around that skeleton.
