During the last year I got into a habit for which I'm struggling to decide if it's good or not. Whenever I didn't feel like investing mental energy into drawing, I'd do some (very) quick figure drawings. Before I'd either do minimal progress on a multi-day drawing, or do some 0-effort doodles.
The figures are definitely better than the doodles, but I think I could progress through my tutorials a lot faster if I didn't fall back on figures constantly.

That said, I have definitely improved a ton on my humans. Progress is very slow, but it's still progress.

I don't see much change to the process happening for this year. I'm only about a third of the way through the anatomy tutorial (which I started in may, I believe). And if I manage to finish that someday, I'll continue with portraits and heads in general.

I do want to do mare charcoal drawings tho.
