So a while ago, I made a suika game clone, the twist being that it used soft body physics (they were also pastries instead of fruit, but thats not that important). About a month ago, I decided to make it again from scratch knowing I could do better. I've completely overhauled the physics engine and it feels so much better than the old one, and I'm also making completely new art. Right now I've been working on the gui, and it looks pretty bad and idk how to make it look good. I'm making this from scratch
in c++ using raylib for my graphics library.

Well the game is about as finished as it will ever be, and I just submitted it. It's nowhere near the quality of some other games submitted, but at least I have the excuse that I started 5 days late lmao. Since yesterday I've completely reworked the fish spawning, so there are now multiple types of fish. I've also added more phases to the boss fight, as well as sound effects. All things considered, it could have gone much worse!

Well, one day and about 500 lines of code later, I made the game. Everything needed in the game is there, it just needs polishing. Since yesterday I've added 3 phases as well as a final boss. I'll probably add some particle effects to make it feel more responsive and satisfying, and maybe add some more art since it looks like utter garbage, but it is a playable game.

so uhhhh i sorta forgot to start on time, so im just gonna make a game in 2 days :D im sure this will go great (it has many fish)

I'm gonna be making a space invader's type game, but instead of spaceships you are a fish. So far I've only been working on it for a few hours. I have the basic gameplay down, I have a gamestate system, and i have a very dumb fish texture. I'm making this from scratch using raylib, so perhaps starting 5 days late wasn't the best thing to do, but whatever. How bad could it possibly turn out?
