Reverse Sculpt is a puzzle game played on the mobile platform in which instead of sculpting something by adding more and more clay for instance, the player must chop pieces away from a larger piece.

In the game, the player is shown an animal or plant or other object that they must create in the level. The camera then moves to show a cubic chunk of clay that they can use to create said object - note that the player is able to flip back to the guide at any time. To cut away at the clay, the player can make cuts perpendicular to any face by swiping their finger across the screen. The game will select an appropriate face that is closest to the camera to use. The player need not cut all the way through the clay, however they are given a limited number of cuts for each level, which is indicated on the screen. This creates the puzzle aspect of the game.

Once the player has completed their cuts, the game will approximately compare their object with the guide object, and if close enough, the player has won the level. Other controls include rotating the camera by dragging with two fingers.
