Poi E is a game that utilizes a camera and Poi made with a particular colour to help the game identify it, this will primarily be a small tool to help learn the art of Poi and will be most useful to the younger audience although can be enjoyed by all.

Gameplay is similar to other camera required games like “Just Dance" where players will stand in view and go through movements to set the game sensors as well as allowing the identification of the poi the user has, you will go through tutorial stages to learn techniques and movements, with players being graded on the accuracy of their movements to the beat playing.

Once players have completed all the tutorial sections and feel they have mastered it they will be given the chance to learn and ultimately perform the poi to the unofficial New Zealand Anthem, “Poi E" by the Patea Maori Club.

The graphics will be a simple 2D environment with the game play mostly consists of clicking with the mouse or your finger depending on what platform you are playing (Browser or Mobile)

Search and find each unique way to procrastinate and earn a greater score for each one you find.

Alex, the Righteous Digger is the owner of a struggling farm, his land was not conditioned enough to grow all that was needed to help earn the living he wanted to have for himself, so making a deal with god was his last ditch effort to save himself and his farm.

Who he thought was God was really the devil and he had other plans and caused these plants to grow faster than was hoping and gave them a cruel twist…they eat humans, so you are tasked as Alex to take out these plants and not to let them over grow and take over the farm and ultimately stop them from eating you.

Armed with only a shovel you will be required to run left and right on screen digging up these plants before they grow big enough to eat you, the longer these plants grow the more it will take for you to dig them up, there will be cool down periods where you will be given a rest and be given the chance to upgrade your shovel as well as purchasing power ups including dynamite for an explosive finale to these pesky plants!

This game is aimed to be played by those who wish to kill time and cause havoc as a form of stress relief, you will take on the role of some sort of god and control the weather to cause as much destruction through a massive storm as possible, you will simply be required to drag elements from the top of the screen down over the world, combining different elements can cause different reactions changing the storm.

Players will be given the option to choose from several backdrops to set their storm on, Choose from creating a storm over the ocean, a busy city or the countryside.

Similar game mechanics to that of doodle god, with a beautiful visual world to display the incredible storm you create, the art style would be one that creates a calming environment to look at and not overly flashy or bright to cause too much stimulation in the brain as the main aim is to help the players with stress.

A brand new game has been released where you connect up to VR however this game has been corrupted by a mysterious figure only known as "The Game Master" and you cannot escape the game until the final boss has been defeated.

Characters have been kidnapped and scattered throughout the gaming universe, without memory of who did it or where they are, locate these characters and return them to their own world.

To get to each world for the first time you will need to find the door connecting the worlds, however you will not know what world you are being transported to until you are there, each world comes with its own different enemies and quests to help the remaining characters as well as to help the lost character.

Fight through and restore order to the gaming universe and once all have been returned to their rightful places their memories will be enough for you to piece together the mystery and confront "The Game Master".

Battle will take place in real world combat like that of kingdom hearts, unique weapons iconic to each world can be found allowing for greater damage in that world, and however stats may be higher for particular weapons you will have reduced damage for other worlds, along with generic weapons that can be used with no penalty in differing worlds.

This is a turn based strategy combat game similar to that of 'Final Fantasy Tactics' and 'Fire Emblem'.

The story behind the game is that you are on one side of a war between rooms, the toys you had and played with as a child when you are not around come to life (who would have thought that Toy Story was based on real life?) and like all brothers and sisters they do not get along, across the hall is the room of your sister with all her Barbie's and other soft animals and unicorns, on your side, the little green army men dinosaurs and other stereotypical toys for a young boy.

Each turn you will move your army, dependant on their speed value across the battle field to move closer to the other room, however a direct route is not always the best as you will be required to drop to the ground in "toy mode" if any humans walk near and if they spot you out in the open in the hallway you will be placed back in the room.

Different troop types allow for faster movement through the room as well as the distance required to attack from as well as heal other members from your party, each member can only move once per round and if that player has "died" by the end of the round that character is lost and cannot be used again in further battles.

This is primarily a simulation game (similar to the style of Game Dev Tycoon) on your first day in a new game design studio and you take on the role in the audio department helping to hire voice actors and help compose the tracks for the games that your company is developing.

Each game you will be supplied with a basic outline as well as the genre and feel, and it will come down to you to select the voice actors you feel would best suit the role required, to do this you will be given a list of people along with audio clips of their auditions and if you feel that voice goes with the character then you can either hire on the spot or call back, ensuring the actors you choose have a good chemistry rating to help your game rate higher upon release.

Heroes in movies or games instantly after being gifted their powers somehow mysteriously know how to use them as if they have had them for years; this game strives to be different giving a unique twist on the super hero genre.

Starting out with a basic character creation you will have control over how YOU the player will look, ranging from hair, eyes, build, skin tone and tattoos/piercings, then you will awaken in hospital after hearing about the story of you and several others being caught in a freak storm while out on a boat you are the last to awaken and are discharged, while at home later during the night you discover things are not as they once were with you, and you discover you have these abilities starting with what you assume is the ability to fly.

As mentioned this game will be different and instead of instantly being able to fly you will be forced to learn how to over time, gaining experience by flying itself, raising your ability to fly will increase the length of time you can fly for as well as how easy it is for you to control the player. The flight mechanics involves the player to use the shoulder/trigger buttons to control altitude and speed while the thumb/analog sticks will be used for stability, the higher your skill with flying the easier it will be to stabilize and not fall from the sky.

Not only will the player need to improve and practice these abilities they also will need to improve on their sewing skills to get a better costume, OR if you do not wish to work on that build up your relationships with friends and judge who you feel is trustworthy knowing your secret (perhaps one of them knows how to sew, saving you the hassle from doing so).

Gameplay through the story will mainly consist of the player completing tasks for the locals in the area to build up a reputation (tasks including helping cats from trees, collecting items for elderly, stopping attempted robberies and helping the local police) also an increase to skill level to help a larger area.

Distant Worlds is a game designed for VR and targeted towards the music virtuosos and video game music enthusiasts.

There will be nothing Innocent about this Love Story you will take control of the Fearless couple Austin and Alison, as the pair set out on a goal to become the most famous criminal couple the world has ever seen.

You start out in the early years of their career where there is nothing Better than Revenge when there is a lot of Bad Blood, starting off the day before the pair turn 22 you will begin their spree with simple robbery of local homes taking all and leaving nothing but Blank Space behind, earn experience to improve your ability and speed to get through each home and doing your best not to get caught and keeping an eye on your alert bar featured at the top of the screen during the early levels this will be easy to just Shake it off and escape before being caught.

As you gain more from your jobs this is where their story will get Crazier as this is where you transition into the later part of their career where you will be hitting banks and out on the road killing only if necessary as they chase the goal of stealing enough to live out their Wildest Dreams.

The final chapter of this game takes you on the biggest job they will attempt when they wish to rob a casino in Las Vegas to which they say will be The Last Time they do this, this will go only one of two ways and it is entirely up to the players success or failure of this task, will Austin and Alison live it large? Or will they simply go out in Style?

In the year 2016 you awake to hear the news of a deadly virus outbreak causing a zombie apocalypse, you discover that you are immune to the virus and so your survival begins.

You take up the role of Kieran, an up and coming engineer and you face two options before you, go out into the world and find other survivors or fortify your house against all attacks (if the player chooses to defend there will be several customization options to fortify your home using materials the player can find scattered around the neighbourhood).

Travelling around is fairly open world searching for survivors and fighting off the horde of zombies paying careful attention to the time as the day and night cycles it will be harder to see your surroundings, find or craft weapons to defend yourself and as you find other survivors you will travel together making the nights that little bit safer for you to sleep and regain energy.

The end goal of the game is to find as many survivors as you can and locate Safehaven city which has been established by the government and other professionals in case anything like this were to happen.

You play as a pirate captain who is very methodical in his career. He takes pirating seriously and wants to make a role model to his fellow peers. You have to tell your crew off for cussing and throw their rum overboard. Naturally you mess with a pirate and his rum you will promptly be mutinied against and left on an island with a single shot in your pistol.

The island is where you will play 95% of this game, you will be tasked with exploring and choosing how you wish to survive this game, do you want to try and make some sort of shelter and scavenge for food? Or find as many creative ways to leave the island, there is no right or wrong answer and there will be several Easter eggs hidden in the game to satisfy those who find them, Wilson the volleyball being one, and one other being the opportunity to escape the island on the backs of a couple turtles tied together like the tales of Captain Jack Sparrow.

This game would be best suited for console only due to the requirement of the guitar hero/rock band controllers (Guitar, Mic and/or Drum set) also required would be a VR Headset.

In this cute little tower defence game do not let the bright and colourful aesthetics fool you, you will take up the roll as the all mighty who must help defend the rainbow unikitty's kingdom from invaders!

Before each wave you will be given 1min to set up the troops around each maze-like track to prevent the enemies from getting to the end of the path, starting each game with 20 health that do not regenerate between waves.

Killing enemies earn you gold that you can spend on new troops or upgrades to current troops, each level increases with more enemies that increase in speed and strength.

Some of the troops you can recruit to help defend the kingdom are:

• Rainbow vomiting Gnomes
• Cupcake Poop bombing parrots
• Rainbow Unikitty (which you can only place one of, and shouts insults at passing enemies, often containing curse words)

Several other options are available with different type of attacks, and when an enemy is defeated he will explode in a fireworks explosion of blood.

Top down Casual puzzle solution game for mobile for those that love to cause destruction!

Welcome to Chaos where you get to cause destruction and mayhem without suffering consequences. Game will be played in levels where you simply need to destroy the trains in each level by making them collide with each other, sounds simple right?

Each level will start by informing the player of the length of track they have to use, as well as showing the player the board which will contain already laid track pieces for you to use, at the beginning it shows the number of trains which will increase as you go through the levels to increase the difficulty as well as the speed/time at which the trains will leave the station, this causes you to think of how to set up your tracks so they will impact at the crossroads.

The less track required and less attempts each level will give you bonus points to go towards your total ladder score.

In Chronoshift you will play as Fraser, who after a freak accident during a storm gave him the ability to manipulate time, however he can only go backwards in time while still having the ability to change various actions and shape the future.

This will be played out in chapters with new twists and evils you will need to fight and defeat while defending various people in your life should any of them die you will be given the chance to go back in time and fix the mistakes you may have made to cause that outcome and decisions you make effect outcomes further down the road….the drawback is that depending on how far back you travel or how often you do so, the future you know will become more distorted and reality you see and live in, may not be anything similar to what you once knew.

So at some point you may need to look at yourself and consider do I need to save this person and risk distorting the future any more than I already have?

In this escape game it will test your resilience and ability to pay attention to your surroundings while avoiding the darkness within, you will have to navigate yourself through a dark maze-like floor of a creepy building, you will need to locate keys as well as any item you feel will help you throughout, while navigating through you will have a timer for each level and as you get closer to zero the screen will slowly become darker and close in on you while you hear whispers of the typical negative thoughts going through your inner mind and avoiding the many jump scares scattered throughout each level.

Once you defeat these enemies you will begin a quest to reunite the cub and his mother, leaving you to explore the world and prevent further harm to the world you know and love, help out other races hiding out and create alliances, as your power grows and find artifacts your skills as a druid expand and you will gain the ability to transform into animals other than your starting bear form (eventually you will be able to transform into a panther where you can then communicate with the cub to help learn more clues about the possible whereabouts of his mother).

Combat mechanics – Combat will take part in real time with a hack-n-slash style system with the player using various button combos to pull off quick and devastating physical attacks while also allowing for the ability to use magic, time will slow down to give the player time to aim their ability.

Magic will also impact the environment around you with the elements allowing for a damage multiplier (If it is raining or wet around it will amplify damage from lightning elements and cause fire to deal less, etc.)
