Streak Club is a place for hosting and participating in creative streaks.
Started 11 years ago (2015-02-01T12:00:00Z). Goes forever.
The rules are simple: Work on some art every day for as long as you can. Submit something visual that represents your effort by uploading an image or file. All art styles are allowed, there are no limitations on the medium 1. This streak is not a competition, it's for you to grow as an artist by giving you an excuse to practice every day.
If you're working on a multi-day piece feel free to submit progress images each day. If you do a bunch of things in one day then submit them all! You can upload multiple images per submission on Streak Club. Good luck!
If you're away from the computer and can't submit, don't worry, late submitting is enabled for this streak! Just head to the particular day by clicking it on the sidebar, and click the late submit link.
Sharing your stuff on Twitter? Use the #dailyartstreak hashtag!
P.S. There's also a Weekly Art streak!
1 Note: This streak is for Human Art. If you want to post the output of your AI prompts use another streak
I tried fixing the shapes of the previous sketch & added some shading. The top cloud needs some word though. I need to approach these wispy shapes in a different way because I'm taking too long fixing them after the initial sketch.
Ill add some more color to all of these 2 palette clouds in the future. It'll be a great idea to save some time while practicing shading.
Polished the sketches from yesterday. I maintained the shading that I always do but I should consider some other lighting variations
Replicated this process I once saw in a YouTube video where you add one color at a time to a piece. The rare non-isometric pixel art from me!
Ima try to draw wispy clouds for a bit. I think these guide lines are necessary because you can't draw the silhouette from the start
Revisiting some cloud sketches. Ive been able to catch some mistakes. Once i'm done drawing all the variations, ill create a new sheet that is an iteration of the old sheet. It'll be cool to see the slight improvements and variations over time
Trying out a new style with a bunch more colors. I sort of figured going from dark to lightest tones is the easiest method. Im still trying to figure out methods to recreate this reference picture tho.
