Food Screwed

Game Concept:

You play as a notorious chef who's primary goal is to poison anyone who dares to step into his restaurant. Your job is to serve poisonous food to as many customers as you possibly can during daytime. You will have to prepare each meal yourself. You have a variety of 'unhealthy' servings in your kitchen, including: Fugu (Pufferfish), Elderberry roots, Caster Oil, raw meat and many more, mix and match as you choose!

You should always attempt to serve raw or lightly cooked eggs and meat as often as you can. Never wash the leaves of your vegetables and make sure you adjust your kitchen's temperature to ensure bacteria growth. The goal of the game is to get the worst health rating in town.

A helpful tip: The possibility of bacterial growth increases as food cools after cooking because the drop in temperature allows bacteria to thrive. In addition, never throw food away, keep the leftovers and serve them to the upcoming customers.

After a whole hour journey descending into the hole, the farmer set off into the bowels of the Earth, encountering many strange phenomena and great dangers, including a chamber filled with combustible gas, and steep-sided wells throughout. After taking the wrong turns, the farmer starts to run out of water and is trying to find a way back to where he landed so he can get back up to the surface. Desperate and unable to find the spot, he decides to continue to explore and eventually, he ends up finding a passageway marked by an anonymous cave explorer as the way out. However, the passageway seems to be blocked by a wall of granite. The player has to craft his way out of the cave and they will be having many challenges ahead doing so.

A Place Of Disaster

Game Concept:

The world has ended, it is now a world full of dangerous and despicable mutated monsters that roam free all over the places at all times. Many have died, humans are rarely found. The player takes control of an ex-navy seal who was able to survive for several weeks without help and they must help eliminate these foul creatures and make the world safer. In this game, the player will be helping a fellow scientist that does not do so well against these threats physically. The scientist claims that they know a way to create a gas that can kill these monsters easily, however, the scientist does not have the necessary components nor the proper framework. The game is played from a first person perspective and there will not be any guns in this game as bullets have proven to be very ineffective against these monsters, instead, the player will be equipped with a knife.

The Supermarket

Game Concept:

In this game, players will have to do some shopping at a supermarket. The player will be given a certain amount of money at the start of each level along with a list of items they must purchase without spending more than what they have already been given. Some merchandise are cheaper than others but they do require a bit of exploration to find deep into the supermarket. There will also be a countdown timer, so the player has to rush around the market to find the items they are required to purchase and add them to their carts as fast as they can. To make the game even more challenging, a hard mode will be implemented where the market changes at the start of each level and the player is required to select the freshest and tastiest vegetables and fruits from the market and not just any. Players have the ability to instantly win and skip a level by finding the perfect avocado fruit which rarely spawns in high level markets and is usually hard to find.

The Distinguished Psychologist

Game Concept:

In this game, players will take control of a child psychiatrist whose aim is to discipline other people's children and improve their overall developmental well-being. The game will introduce multiple levels and in each new level, a child's behavioural and thought disorders increase and they become much harder to treat. The player's task is to ensure the mental health of future generations by figuring out new ways to successfully diagnose and improve each child's emotional, behavioural and developmental psychological skills. In addition, some children might have experienced traumatic events in their lives and they are often a bit tricky to find a proper diagnosis and treatment for. A patient is considered to be cured if and only if they begin to understand the consequences for their actions and start to avoid bad habits. The more patients the player treats, the more their reputation level will increase.

The player will be supplied with the following information prior to the diagnosis stage:

  • A history of any important medical problems
  • A family history of mental disorders
  • Whether or not a child has experienced physical or psychological traumas, such as a natural disaster, or situations that may cause stress.
  • Several reports from parents and other caretakers or teachers

Emperor

Game Concept:

In this game, the player takes control of an emperor who is trying to expand his empire's population and bring more entertainment to his people. The player will have to select fighters with the most talent and enthusiasm to fight one another and provide a spectacle for the populace. The losing gladiator, if not killed outright, will often appeal for mercy by dropping their weapon and shield and raising a finger. The player (the emperor) will have the choice to decide the gladiator's fate while the crowd would certainly try to influence his judgement by waving cloths or gesturing with their hands - raised thumbs and shouts meant 'let him/her go', thumbs down meant execution. Most of the times, it is best to adhere to the crowd's decision and give them what they want in order to satisfy them. However, often times it is best not to execute a certain fighter and give them a chance to fight again with hopes that they would put on a better performance.

Horror On The Rift

Game Concept:

A horror Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game that is based around a scary folklore theme. Each character will be randomly assigned a fear level at the start of the game. Each individual character has a basic neutral scare without any fear alignments, and one or two other special abilities which do bonus scare if the ability's type matches with one of the opponent's fears. Characters also have one ability to help them survive such as stealthiness which grants them enough speed to escape from certain situations or an ability to reduce scare for a set period of time. The map will be dark and covered with fog with lots of blind corners and hiding spots. To win the game, one team has to drive all opponents on the other team insane. There will be different modes as well. For instance, a mode where there would be a village in the center of the map and the team to scare away all villagers wins with the mayor being the final boss.

Hockey Referee

Game Concept:

The game is played from a third person view where the player plays as a referee in a hockey game and the goal of the game is to start fights between players on the ice rink. The debate over allowing fighting in ice hockey games is ongoing. Despite its potentially negative consequences, some administrators are not considering eliminating fighting from the game, as some players consider it essential. In this game, the player must provoke players to start fighting each other and then penalize them for 10 whole minutes. The objective of the game is to penalize all the players until there are no other players left on the rink. The player must attempt to ban all the players on the rink all within 10 minutes using various provocation techniques. In addition, the player can provoke players on the rink to attack him/her which they could then penalize them for attacking the referee.

Rake The Money In!

Game Concept:

A third person incremental-like game where the sky rains money and the player has to rake in as much money as possible from their yard into their household. The player starts with a rake, as they level up, they can start using different tools and machines to collect the money such as a lawn mower and a leaf blower. To shake things up, the game could implement multiplayer mode where players can invade each other's yard in an attempt to steal money off of each other's yards. To make things even better, the game could also implement a player versus player mode in which players would have the ability to attack one another and kill each other and then loot. Upon death, the dead player would lose their entire collected money and the killer would get all of it. To promote PVP mode even further, we could make it so that in PVP mode, especially in risky areas, the sky rains x10 amount of money than other areas.

Game Concept:

You play as a blob that can only go left and right, and your objective is to fall from one platform to another without hitting the spikes above or plummeting to the ground. As you stay alive, your score will be incrementing rapidly but stops the moment you lose. Every 5 to 10 seconds, the platforms starts to move upwards much faster, you have to fall from one platform and land on another as fast as you can or else you will reach the top of the screen and lose. Try to stay in the middle of the screen as often as you can and beware falling from the slippery platforms as they might give you an extra unneeded thrust and you will end up falling to the surface and missing the platform you were meant to fall on. The game will gradually become more and more intense and much more difficult after 1 or 2 minutes of gameplay.

Herb Clicker

Game Concept:

An incremental game where the goal is to mix herbs with water to create potions. Players must click the herb icon and collect as many herbs as possible. Upon clicking, the herb will automatically mix with the vial of water which will be on the right hand side of the screen. The game will be endless and can last an indefinite amount of time, up until the player's device can no longer run it or when the variable that is used to store the player's current score reaches its maximum capacity (in C++, 2^64 - 1 - unsigned long long integer which would be equal to 18446744073709551615). The game will have the common theme of giving the player sources of time-based income displayed as buildings (such as factories and farms). Eventually, the clicking becomes unnecessary as the game plays itself, including in the player's absence thus the game can become afkable. However, the game will introduce a cool feature (whenever the player collects up to 4 billion herbs) called the ultimate herb clicker quicker which makes every single click count as 3 and thus keeping the purpose of the game alive!

In this epic fighting game, players get to choose from a variety of skeleton boxers and challenge one another for a boxing match. The game focuses primarily on 1-on-1 battles however several modes wherein multiple players can fight one another all at the same time can be applied. Players will be able to execute several cool mechanisms too, such as Power Rush which lets a player continue their attacks even while they are being hit by their foe; however, they would still receive the damage dealt by the enemy's attacks. The game will not contain any scenes of bloody violence as skeletons do not normally have blood, though, the players will have the ability to pick up fractures of their bones which would be laying around the ring and whack one another with them. The fight ends whenever a certain player loses their entire facial bones (skullcap, nose bone, cheekbone, upper jawbone, and lower jawbone) in which case they would crumble.

Quantum Computing

Game Concept:

The world is changing, scientists have predicted about the amount of computing power that would support humanity's growing technological needs. Will humanity ever have the amount of computing power it needs for the future? According to Moore's Law, the number of transistors on a microprocessor continues to double every 18 months, the year 2025 or 2030 will find the circuits on a microprocessor measured on an atomic scale. The logical next step would be to create quantum computers, which will harness the power of atoms and molecules to perform memory and other processing tasks. You, the player, take control of a highly credentialed professor in the field of computer engineering, and you must create quantum computers that have the potential to perform calculations and tasks significantly faster than any other silicon-based computer out there. The computers you create must harness and exploit the amazing laws of quantum mechanics (or quantum physics) to process information. Today's computers use long strings of "bits," which encode either a zero (false) or a one (true). However, your computers must utilize quantum bits (also known as qubits) that encodes zero and one into two distinguishable quantum states.

This game resides in the educational genre and it is aimed to teach players a bit about computer hardware, software and quantum physics.
