This is an action / adventure game where the player is on a star ship and is stuck in the simulation deck. The game involves finding ways to get through places, finding people, exploring environments, and multi-layered simulation twists.

Story intro

At 0700 hours in the morning, a tired crew member 'Joe' from engineering of the 'space explorer turbo' decides to visit the simulation deck for some relaxation time. For a change, he requests the computer to create a simulation of the vessel he's in and some enemy vessels to juice things up. Unfortunately the previous user of the simulation deck had managed to corrupt the system, causing safety routines to fail and the system to not respond properly.

As Joe begins to act as captain, he suddenly notices himself being propelled across the bridge as the ship takes a massive hit from one of the enemy ships. He tries to end the simulation, however the system simply carries on.

Overview of events

  • Stuck in ship's simulation deck, in a simulation of the ship, with enemy ships opening fire
  • Captured by enemy ship
  • Breaks free and finds a simulation deck in the enemy ship
  • Gets stuck in that simulation deck
  • Ends up in some remote village
  • Goes through various puzzles and talks to specific people
  • Finally breaks free of the simulation back into the 'space explorer turbo'
  • But it turns out he's in yet another simulation
  • Goes through more puzzles etc.
  • Finale

In this game you must use the x-ray scanner to scan through the luggage that comes through the conveyor belt and must sort items between two groups, legal and contraband. This is done by dragging the x-ray scan of each item into the two grouped trays. Each level (luggage bag) will have different amounts of items in the bag. The items in the legal group include books, toys, clothes etc... while contraband includes guns, knives, explosives, gel etc....

After a few levels the items will become less visible by the x-ray scanner, as the customers will pack in more items and even try to conceal their contraband in tin foil and other types of material that restricts blocks x-ray scanning. You must be careful however, if you sort out items incorrectly then you will lose a "life" and if you lose all your lives at any stage you will lose the game and your job.

Overview: Set in a near future the game takes place in a world stripped of technology after a massive solar geomagnetic storm. Almost all of earths electronics ended up fried and useless, sparking off already tense situations globally. Subsequent riots against many of the worlds governments occurred, and mass civil war broke out in many places across the world. 15 years later you as a young girl have grown up not having known much about technology apart from what you had been told in tales of the previous world.

Occasionally you find pieces of old tech that never really work, & while no-one else seems to care about them, you collect and care for every single one you find with complete fervour. While exploring one day for old tech you stumble upon the remains of almost intact robot, missing only its eyes and legs. Pressing a small button on its back seems to suddenly ignite the ancient robot, which slowly turns around to face you. It seems to follow your every move, reacting to whatever sound you make. Its everything you could have hoped for and more, and you want to try help fix it however you can.

Mechanics: The game has a specific focus on exploration and puzzle solving, where you must direct the robot using sounds as it is unable to see anything. You are able to direct the robot with different words and eventually just simple whistles and tones. As such you can ride on the back of the robot to travel the land faster, directing it on top with sound cues. This in game would simply be like moving left and right, but the player character will use audio to convey to the robot where to move.

The land the player moves around in has the occasional bandit keen to strip the robot of its parts, as actual moving tech is a complete rarity. While the player is largely ignored in these encounters initially, they can change their aggression patterns towards you should you start trying to fight them off. You are definitely weaker in each combat situation, but can help distract them in order to give your robot a chance to break free and help you out.

The major focus in the game is through the fact that you yourself are physically weak and unable to really stand up to bandits or traverse through many of the environments on your own, while the robot relies on you also to act as its eyes/sensors in many situations.

You play a protagonist who got lost doing speleology. His rope broke and he fell.

This is complete dark and you hear strange noises. As you try to evolve, you feel like something is following you.

Suddenly a lantern is lightened. The light is blue but nothing holds it. The object is floating by itself. Scared you try to escape but someone starts to talk to you. This is a girl's voice, coming from the lantern. She then appears to you and she's wearing an animal costume like Princess Mononoke.

She propose you to get you out but you'll need to do something in exchange.

She's cursed, she turns into a ghost and lives in the lantern. To break the curse, you need to defeat the beast who's keeping her.

As she leads you to where the creatures is, you need to follow her. You need to be fast and focus or she'll get further and you'll not have the light of the lantern anymore.

In this case, the inhabitants of the place, who are fond of lost humans will start to come to eat you.

The light of the lantern repulses the monsters so you need to stay in its perimeter or you will face the creatures and have to defend yourself and might die.

You found a wood stick and you attached a knife in it, this is your only weapon.

When you defeat the final boss you finally get out from the cave with the girl and you fall in love.

"In this profession one has to endure heat, hunger and hard work, to sleep little and often to keep watch. And to be exhausted and to sleep uncomfortably on the ground only to be abruptly awakened. And you will be powerless to change the situation. You will often be afraid when you see your enemies coming towards you with lowered lances to run you through and with drawn swords to cut you down. Bolts and arrows come at you and you do not know how best to protect yourself. You see people killing each other, fleeing, dying and being taken prisoner and you see the bodies of your dead friends lying before you. But your horse is not dead, and by its vigorous speed you can escape in dishonour. But if you stay, you will win eternal honour. Is he not a great martyr, who puts himself to such work?" -Geoffroi de Charny, French knight of the 14th Century

--

A game where you play as a knight who has been in his line of work for a long now and has lost the excitement he once had for his craft. Instead, he suffers the onslaught of post-traumatic stress disorder from the years of screaming blood rushing through his head. The land he lives in stands on the brink of yet another civil war, and with that threat looming over the hills, political figureheads of his country seek him out by name and call for him to come back into service. But he is exhausted; disillusioned with the horrors he's cornered himself into with every skirmish, and only wants out.

It works a lot like many 3D action RPGs, with the exception that your quest is to do all you can to avoid adventure. This will not be easy. Quests will be foisted upon you by many of the locals you may need to talk to, guards may recognise you and cause a scene, nobles will attempt to coerce or blackmail you into their service. With your quiet life being constantly trampled on by the clamour around you, find a way to earn enough of a living to pay for meals and boarding while keeping your stress and exhaustion levels to a minimum. Will you live as a hermit and forgo all luxuries, or attempt balance yourself in the storm of unwanted attention and political string-pulling?

Spell Card Frenzy is a 3d MMORPG action/puzzle game that will be played in the third person. It will be made for PC's as well as the option of porting it over to consoles such as the PS4 and XboX1 at a later stage. In this game all players play as an adventurer and collector of cards. These cards will have magical properties that can be used to conjure powerful spells and weapons that the player can use in and out of combat. Essentially the player will build a deck as they advance through the game based on what they do in the world and what kind of enemies the face. At the beginning of the game each player starts with a basic pool of cards that you will add to over time building a deck tailored to your style of combat. The cards are the to aid the players combat making him/her stronger so it isn't necessarily all based around how powerful your cards it's how skilful you are in combat and using the cards efficiently to boost your combat abilities. Along with this card system players will have a combat system as well like I mentioned before. This combat system won't revolve around classes but instead you will tailor it to your specific play style for example if you want to be a buffy healer type you will build a deck and character revolving around granting allies and yourself extra stats and health or rather if you wanted to focus on inflicting major damage to other players/monsters you will build a deck based around granting you armour and weapons and damaging spells. The combat system will also all be real time rather than turn based as seen in other card games

This game idea was inspired by elements from popular games such as Hearthstone and Magic the gathering.

Dimension Drift is a drift racing game. Much like any other racing game the goal is to win each race and progress through the ranks.

As the player wins more races they will gain better gear that they can use to upgrade their cars. Making them faster and better able to drift. As well as allowing the to buy better 4D drift gear.

The key to Dimension Drift though is to time the 4D drift allowing the player to pass through other racers or objects while drifting around corners. This drift needs to be timed properly as they are only able to shift to the fourth dimension for a short period of time. If the player re-enters the 3D world while they are half way through another player or object they will be destroyed and lose their race.

The player can optionally leave the fourth dimension so that they are not forced into re-entry collisions.

Evolve or Die

EoD is a 3rd person action/adventure game set on an earth-like planet millions of years ago. The player plays as some sort of animal that is trying to live in a world which is undergoing massive change after a massive natural catastrophe occurred. Evolve or Die is similar in some aspects to Spore. The player must explore the world, attacking creatures and eating things to survive, while being forced along a general direction as the player flees the catastrophe. Whether it is a drought that is killing off plants, rising waters, or the coming of an ice age, the player must try flee for as long as he can until he believes that his creature can survive this new climate.

To do this the player must find other creatures with useful qualities while exploring and mate with them. Then the players creature will lay an egg and the player will decide which genes (from the parent creatures) the baby will get. The player will then play as the baby (be careful though, the baby will be very vulnerable until it grows up so the player must be aware of this).

The goal for the player is for the player to breed and evolve his creature until he believes that it will be able to survive in the new climate.

In this game you need to take care of an excluded fantasy forest. Growing and making things to benefit the small to large range of creatures. With the care you provide this small world flourishes and all creatures get along.

You need to gain each species trust, day by day you offer fruits and eventually you will be accepted. There will be different difficulty levels depending on the species, if they are rare then it will be harder to build trust with them e.g. it will take longer or are harder to find. This needs to be done as different species habitats contains new and exciting items to discover. You won't be able to take a step into any habitat that is unknown.

Grow your knowledge of the world. You will have an item encyclopaedia that fills in information as you learn it. What seeds grow which fruits and who likes them etc.

"Busy Bee" is a 2D endless runner game in which the player will play as a lonely bee known as "Buzzy" trying to make his way home to his beehive after collecting honey from a beautiful flower. The game will have a side on camera view and the controls will be fairly simple as Buzzy will always fall slowly towards the ground unless the screen is tapped or held which will cause him to fly upwards.

The only problem is that Buzzy will have to pass many obstacles and dangerous hazards on his way back home. These may include pesticide spray from humans trying to get rid of Buzzy, leaves falling from trees as well as other insects such as wasps who will try home into Buzzy's location and take him down. The player will have to manoeuvre around these obstacles and also collect drops of honey along the way which will reward Buzzy extra credits from the queen bee upon returning to the hive.

There will also be certain power-ups including bee swarm (which will cause a swarm of bees to help Buzzy take out obstacles and collect honey along the way), an exoskeleton bee shield which will block the next obstacle hit as well as a honey magnet which will automatically collect honey that Buzzy flies past. The game will also become harder as time progresses as the height of the screen that Buzzy can fly in will slowly decrease meaning that the player will have to become more precise with their movements.

You are the only one in the household who has any idea how to put things together, so its up to you to build the devices for you family. There are over 100 Levels, each with a different thing that needs to be built. These range from Chair and Bookshelf type objects through the earlier levels, to Computers and 3D Printers during the later stages. Summary

Gearhead, grease monkey, tinkeress. Words thrown like insults that sound like praise to Vaasch Altier the aeronautic mechanic on the sky-liner Aura. The Aura is a weathered Zeppelin cruise liner repurposed to run short range economy class transportation in the empire of Kiren. Kiren is an older monarchy which embodies the ideas of a bourgeois culture. In response to this a rebellion is boiling in the country coming to a head when they hijack the Aura. Initially intending to blow it up their leader is moved by Vaasch's dedication to the ship and decides to take the Aura to their base as a flag ship, including Vaasch.

Gameplay

The Brazen Skies is primarily a first person puzzle game with a deep linear story line. Players take on Vaasch's role as the mechanic of the Aura, maintaining and upgrading the systems and interacting with both the crew of the ship and the people of the rebellion. Upgrading and maintaining the ship are executed as a form of puzzle, players manipulate systems to achieve their goals while navigating the ship. These will occur both in base but players may also be deployed with the ship, this leads to higher pressure scenarios where players must navigate the ship rapidly while performing repairs. Players will also face another form of puzzle in the form of conversations where they may need to shift NPCs opinions or ideals to advance the story

Mind-set

Vaasch is largely pacifistic and so will regularly oppose the rebellions viewpoints with the goal of minimising casualties and thinking of the people who will get mixed up in a potential war. She was born on and has lived most of her life on the Aura and so has a limited world view but a strong will and love of the Aura, attempting to do anything she can to protect it and the peaceful life she has had on it. The Brazen Skies aims to create an atmosphere where the traditionally "good" rebellion feels just as oppressive as the traditionally "bad" empire but also where Vaasch is an eccentric, passionate and somewhat naive pacifist. Overall The Brazen Skies looks to address the way wars effect people, the misconceptions and hasty conclusions we make when we feel strongly about something, pacifism and the difficulties of being a non-combatant in a combat situation all in a unique fantasy setting that helps make the content more digestible.

Highlights

●Unique narrative

●Huge range of puzzles in all shapes and sizes

●Memorable characters that break many of the cookie cutter moulds

●Strong idealistic story that aims to challenges players views
