Girl On Fire is a game where you play as an up and coming interstellar trader. You command a fleet of Starships, collectively known as the 'Beez' which Fly across human controlled space, selling goods that range from common Pills n Potions to expensive Truffle Butter, and even trading one of a kind items like the Mona Lisa or Marilyn Monroe's skeleton.

You have been a Champion of your trade for many years, and because of a tragic accident in the prologue of the game where a gas Fire Burns down your High School and causes it to go Up in Flames, you have a cyborg body. It is a prototype system, and you will have to frequently return to its designer in Shanghai for expensive maintenance and repairs. It will cost you, but there are advantages. You will be Young Forever, and the worst a Gun Shot can do to you is make you Buy a Heart replacement.

The gameplay will be a blend of combat and business simulation, and you will often enjoy the Freedom to choose your Favorite option between them to solve problems. For example, violence will not be your Only option when dealing with your enemies, as you could Masquerade as one of them to seed a Bed of Lies and destroy them from within, while trying to avoid detection so that they don't Pound the Alarm. They may do the same to you however, and if you aren't careful it may result in your Beez in the Trap which could make All Things Go downhill for your business.

Your finances and fame will grow as you Win Again and again, crushing the competition, and you will also be able to spend your money on accessories for your personal ship, the Beautiful Sinner, buying an Anaconda or a Grand Piano to show Your Love for your crew.

In this sports video game, the premise takes place in a game of beach volleyball. The twist however is that the play controls the ball, not any of the volleyball players. The player must adapt to the serves, digs, sets and spikes of the players as well as external forces such as wind and temperature to complete as long a rally as possible. The volleyball players do not make this easy as they are competing against each other and hit the ball really hard in an attempt to make it hit the ground as normal but the player must manipulate and swerve the ball's motion towards a volleyball player to keep the rally going. Harder levels will include external factors such as wind which adds a force in the direction that the wind is blowing making it harder for the player to force the ball against the wind. Another external factor is temperature which affects the bounce of the volleyball. Warmer temperatures expand the ball making it easier to bounce (float a bit more, less gravity) while colder temperatures contract the ball making it harder to bounce (more noticeable gravity).

Half of you wants to do your very important assignment while the other half is desperate to do anything and everything else. The two halves fight until a sole victor remains.

Summary

This is a game for two players where they both control the same character. One player must try and get their assignment done by the deadline while the other player must occupy the character with literally anything else. It is designed to be played in short bursts because each level ends at the midnight deadline.

Gameplay

Each player must spam the move and interact buttons to steer the character in the direction they want to go. The procrastinator gets extra points for doing various activities such as playing video games, cleaning the house, or napping, while the productive player gets points for activities such as reading, typing, and researching. If the procrastinator drinks enough alcohol, they get a performance boost which makes their moves more effective. The productive player gets the same boost if they drink enough coffee.

Chicken Chaser is a third person PC game where you take on the role of a farmer whose chickens have all escaped, and for some reason, have also gained the knowledge only rivaled by the world hide and seek champions. These cheeky chickens will do their utmost to make their escape, and so you must take them down, or die trying.

Chicken Chasers mechanics follow a hide and seek based game, including stealth, combat, and chasing aspects. The stealth aspect is where you must sneak up behind the chickens, this is one option of capture, while the combat aspect is if you decide to take on the chickens head on. If you chose combat, the chickens will respond negatively, and grow to the size of two midgets in a trench coat, or maybe they just gather up enough chickens to hide in a trench coat, making it seem like they are bigger. You can never tell with chickens. The chasing aspect comes in when the combat/stealth is nearly over, and the cowardly chickens decide to try and flee. These chickens take on super speed to make their final stand, and you must ascend to super farmer, giving you the power and skills to make sure these chickens never succeed.

Chicken Chaser will have many different farm types that you must go through, each level playing as a different farmer with different attributes. the further you progress, the more the farmer will know about the chickens methods, through word of mouth in the world farming championships. Getting through these levels grants you and the farmers you play as the title on grand master farmer.

In RIOT, you work as a riot policeman, who is trying to work his way up the ladder to become a captain in the department. To do this you need to resolve potential riot situations peacefully, which can include gently talking agitators in a protest group or setting an example and taking down the more violent members of the group.

Though different scenarios you find yourself in may affect your decision making when it comes to resolving the erupting conflict before it boils over into a full fledged riot. For instance your boss may not be a fan of your violent methods of settling down protesters, so he may ask you to make more peaceful choices next time you lead the squad, or he may not appreciate your attitude of non-interference and ask you to be more proactive when it comes too putting down a scene that is primed for escalation. All the choices will come back to affect you in some way however, so think carefully.

My Nexus is a gamified tool about tackling mental illnesses. A player wins by losing through recreating the symptoms the believe they have at the hand of a mental illness, and they then fight this against various cures.

The game runs through the veil of an action game to play out the act of "fighting an illness" but the game is actually primarily guided through dialogue. Firstly players can pick a base mental illness (for example depression) from a large listing, and then they can delve into symptoms of that illness to find what they are struggling with the most. (As mental illness is often something that cannot be fixed in a simplistic broad stroke, it can be much more effective to break the illness down into pieces and try to manage the various sub-symptoms of the greater problem.)

Once a symptom is selected they can fight it against various cures or forms of management based solutions to their symptom(s), using a dialogue box to tell them game what solutions they have tried when they encounter them, and the game will remember these choices going forwards and visually represent the response through the games action element. When the player encounters a potential solution that hasn't been countered by their symptoms or their circumstances, they are presented further information on the potential solution and real world resources in their area to pursue these solutions further. The game uses internet connectivity to determine the players surrounding town and city (with their permission) to help them locate these solutions in the smallest possible travel distance.

Features:

  • A gamified self help tool designed to help people combat their mental illnesses.
  • Helps players find not just medicine based cures, but other non-medical solutions to help tackle issues such as anxiety, hyperactivity, distraction and paranoia.
  • Provides a large regularly updated database of conditions allowing for the broader application of the game/software.
  • Players win by losing, because hitting rock bottom doesn't have to be the end.

In this game you are playing as a soldier who has been sent back in time to change the events of history. You must follow another time traveller who is trying to change history helping the bad leaders from different eras. Your goal is to stop him before he changes history forever.

You will be armed to the teeth with new weapons but will only get a certain amount of ammunition each mission. Once you run out of ammunition you will be forced to pick up and use the weapons you find whether it be in the middle ages or in the first world war.

There will be a bunch of eras that you can travel to and complete the mission. You will have an unfair advantage against your enemies because of you weapons but the game will even out due to the vast number of enemies you will have to fight.

Empty Maze is a 3D maze game. In this game, the player must try to escape from the maze. The highlight of this game is that all the wall is completely made out of glass. Which means all the wall are transparent and the player can clearly see obstacles and the end indicator.

Despite the player can see the end indicator, the transparent wall will make navigating the maze surprisingly hard. This is due to the fact that it is almost impossible to see the walls without seeing the reflection from the sun. The player will continuously bump into the walls.

Transparent walls and ground will also increase the tension when the player fall off a ground plane. Since the player cannot see the depth of the ground, they cannot be sure on how far they'll be falling. If they fall from great height, they might die and have to restart the level. Falling might jump scare the player.

'Shady' is a (I don't know the genre!) game, in which the player is a grown man who is walking on various streets in a medium-sized town. This man has somewhat of a paranoia however, and any person he sees appears extremely dodgy. This may be a person who looks like they're brandishing a knife, someone with a hood approaching behind them, or even a group of drunk teenagers.

The objective of the player is to reach their destination without being seen or approached by any of these strangers. The player may hide behind trees in their path, act like a mate/friend/bro, simply run away or even hide in a bush! A certain coloured light is emitted from the strangers, which is put in shadow by any objects that can stop the player from being seen - this is how the player knows where they can hide.

If the player loses the level, in that they are approached or 'detected' by a stranger, their paranoia and various '-isms' are revealed as what they thought was a shady-looking person is revealed to be something completely harmless and normal.

Space racer is a game where you compete in a game of a death run style race where the game is out to kill you. The game is switchable between third and first person and is compatible with virtual reality. You begin the race at a space station and you fly to different sectors that have check points and will be lead through a variety of different things that can kill you. For example, it may have you go through an asteroid field which if you touch and rock of a decent size then your ship will explode and you will start back at a checkpoint. You will be able to go around planets and get close enough to see detail within. The game will include AI for if there are not enough players able to participate or if desired you can turn the AI entirely off. The first person to the finish line wins and once the winner is chosen there is a 30 second timer for everyone to finish and if you do not pass within that 30 seconds then you get a DNF.

Now, with no goal, evil villian, or heroes journey to undertake, and father time quickly arriving, the player tries to make a living in a world where they are unneeded. The narrative focuses on the player character's struggle to find meaning and a role in a now bustling society, taking up petty jobs and making the odd press appearance. Adjusting to civilian life after being the chosen one is no easy task. The hero may choose to start a family, and produce an heir to continue the lineage; they may take up a career, building a company which stands the test of time; maybe they will frequent bars and whorehouses, begging on the streets in their old world uniform: the choice is yours.

this game is played on VR (given you have a decent amount of room for SLAMMING) and you (as mentioned) have to grab players using the VR handheld remote and start thrashing them about to gain more points. the only way to get the person to let go it to locate where they are holding you and swipe them off of you (also using the handheld controller) you can also stun players by knocking them slim slammin onto the ground but you will be deducted points for doing so. you can team if you want but isn't going to collaborate points between players, this causes players to turn on eachother. points are given to the players that are slammed the least and the players that slam the most.

you can run around and try not to get yourself a slammin; or you could try be the one doing the slammin.

Finding Marimo is a simulation game in which the player raises marimos. It does not have any time limit or combat. The game will start showing a marimo floating in a small lake. What the player needs to do is feed marimo on time, and sometimes let the marimo have a walk (float) around the lake. This game would work as a stress reliever.

The colour of the marimo can be changed by what the player feeds it, which is the plankton theplayer can grow inside the lake.

The player can level up as the player gains experience points by growing the plankton, and when the marimo gets back from its walk it brings some items with it, such as items which the player can use to decorate the marimo, new types of plankton, and new types of marimos. The player also able to get experience points from the marimo's walk as well, the amount of experience depends on the number of items collected.

The marimo will grow bigger and bigger, and when the marimo is grown large enough to release it back to its natural habitat, the player can let it go and grow a new type marimo (which previous marimo brought from walk). All the marimos the player raises will be registered in the gallery when the player releases them back to their natural habitat.

Unlike your cliché claw machine simulator, in this VR survival game you as the player take on the role of a plushy or ball. In regards to the VR you would be required to wobble your head to shake and move your character out of the crane's grasp. You would also be able to shake your character in a situation where you are being hoisted up and need to get down. Players participating are given their character at random, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. For instance, if you were a big teddy bear you could use your size advantage to purposely get taken first and then slightly jiggle to drop(we all know how weak the cranes are) and ultimately prolong the game. Alternatively you could trap other players in weird angles so they can't wiggle and evade the crane. The game itself would feature a front facing camera on your character which would mean only if you were facing up you would see the crane. Facing down however would only let you see your friends when you're being hoisted up. Last man squirming, set in a claw machine thing surrounded by players wiggling for their lives.

Overpowered Mech will be a roguelike third person action-adventure game where you are controlling a mech. Every time your robot is destroyed, the pilot will eject from the mech and you start again. The levels will randomly generate every time you die similarly to games such as Rogue Legacy but in a 3D format. You will have to find a boss in the themed stage. Once you beat the boss, you progress to another type of stage. You can't not add and you can't take off any upgrades whether it suits your play style or not. Once you have upgrade a part in a specific way you can't go back. In saying this, you can solve these problems by upgrading another part of the mech and balance it out. For example, if you have made yourself super tanky but in doing so it made you very slow, you can level up to the next upgrade choices and choose stronger jet packs or better legs, etc.

Vacuum Racers is a single or multiplayer game, in which you pilot racing vehicles that resemble vacuum cleaners and function in a similar manner. You race around a predetermined track with a total of six to twelve racers in an effort to 'clean' the track as best as possible by racing over uncleaned terrain. As you pass over the terrain it gets vacuumed and cleaned.

There are three different modes of play; Grand Prix, Time Trial and Clean Up. Grand Prix is your standard racing game, taking four races which give points depending on what position you end in for each race, the person with the highest points at the end wins. Time Trial is similar, trying to get the best time on each track racing solo.

Clean up is a time based event in it's own unique map set in which players must try cover and clean the most ground over other racers, the person with the most floor cleaned at the end wins.
