In this game you are a potion master / healer in a party that is on a quest. The game takes place in a fantasy medieval setting, where the game is focused on supporting your team, rather than doing the fighting yourself.

To begin, you would only have one fighting partner in your group, for example, a melee knight who is fully autonomous and will attack the nearest / weakest enemy. To beat the level, you have to concoct and throw the correct positions to match the enemies the knight has to face. For example, if a fire monster appears, you would need to use a fire resistance potion or a water ability potion to give your partner the advantage. Eventually, the player will have to manage and juggle supporting multiple fighting partners at a time, increasing the difficulty as the player tries to keep everyone alive.

Selecting potions would be through similar to how you would select your spell in Magicka, by pressing a sequence of keys / buttons that correlate to the potion you want to create.

The game will be top down with a pixel art aesthetic, and should be focused on the casual audience and would be able to be picked up and played at any time.

The Creek Down Hythe Terrace; a game where talking flowers and cow sized bumble bees stand in between your character and her peace of mind.

Narrative:

Hythe Terrace is a peaceful little street. Filled with well-to-do families, a very knowledgeable mail man and somewhat of an epidemic for missing pets.

A small bog runs through the gardens of the houses of Hythe Terrace, its water filtration makes these gardens lush, inclusive of strange looking plants and insects.

One day, a young girl is lured by one of these strange insects towards the less explored region along the creek's path.

Her mother follows after her. Unable to catch up, she finds herself charting territory that appears almost alien to her. Talking flowers, giant fat bumble bees, and every pet from recent memory that had gone missing, even Timmy[from across the road]'s illegally imported tarantulas. She just wants to find her daughter, but has a few new secrets about The Creek down Hythe Terrace to discover before they're reunited.

Gameplay(ish):

You play a distressed mother, who turned away from her daughter for 2 seconds just to see her a hundred meters away down the creek in a hurry.

This isn't an action action game, it's more like a third person walking simulator with adventure elements.

Essentially you can ask around the street for clues about the Creek, some might even give you understanding looks. At the same time, you venture further down the creek, going at your own pace, as the atmosphere and mystery imbibes you. Investigate strange events, talk to the dream-like inhabitants of the Creek's uncharted paths, and find the missing daughter.

The environments that the mother will traverse becoming increasingly unrecognizable, some even frightening. Lush colourful forests, abandoned houses reclaimed by nature, some where the long forgotten older families of Hythe Terrace still remain, a cave filled with bio-luminescent creatures, etc.

Inspiration:

This game idea was inspired mainly by a house I used to live at on a street with this very name in Mairangi Bay and a creek the ran down the back of it. I wasn't the most socially intelligent kid and often I'd just spend weekends making up stories about where the creek would lead. The "abandoned house" part is actually inspired directly from some childhood friend's house whose garden was always flooded and overgrown that it appeared like the ground was consuming the house from beneath.

The image here is of the back yard of the house I used to live at (and draw inspiration from). You can see the creek slightly. It was very thin, it looks a lot more mysterious in person I promise. You can also see the slight clipping of the overgrown lawn referenced earlier.

Suffice to say, this game isn't based in New Zealand, it just has a street with the same name and relative look. Technically it isn't really based anywhere.

In this game you play as a Demi-God, Alkaia, and follow him as he journeys to retrieve the Essence of the Goddess which the people of Medya Dezine require to utilise its energy as a life source. However, in this journey Alkaia will face multiple enemies with varying skills and it is your calling to ensure that Alkaia is combat-ready. Completing minor missions on the journey, and defeating opponents provide you with the EXP you need to upgrade Alkaia's Demi-God skills. As a descendant of 微型战士 you have been gifted with skills beyond any man's dreams, the power to manipulate the elements around you, to see into the near future and to miraculously heal wounds. But every great warrior has their weaknesses and in this case Alkaia's is his size, yes this blessed warrior is in fact the size of a walnut. Therefore, increasing the number of obstacles Alkaia will face to not only include that of the venomous fangs of the Mighty Caterpillars, but also the inevitable arrival of destructive bullets of liquid, yup you guessed it…rain. Building alliances with the armies of the "Little World" will aid Alkaia on his journey as learns "it's the little things that matter". Because who said a hero can't be tiny?

The Pac is an asymmetric three player game where each person has a different role, playing as either the mouse, the cat, or the dog. Played from a top-down perspective, it is 2D game with Pac-man style mazes featuring corridors, small open areas and lots of cheese.

Each role has different objectives. If the mouse collects all the cheese in the map, that player gets one point and the round ends. The mouse can also get half a point if the round runs out of time. If the cat catches the mouse the round ends and the cat gets one point, or failing that, the cat also gets half a point if the timer runs out. The dog is unable to hurt the mouse, and gets one point if it catches the cat.

The animals also move differently, with the cat running faster than the mouse, but turning and accelerating more slowly, and the dog runs faster than both the cat and the mouse while having the slowest turn speed and acceleration. This encourages each animal to steer the chase into the parts of the maze that favour their own movement, in order to gain a crucial advantage.

The players change roles at the end of each round, and the first player to get three points wins the game.

Main character grew up privileged in a wealthy, powerful family. She lives a huge city, scattered and suspended in the sky by ancient magic, isolated from the rest of the world. Her city has been ruled by oligarchy for millennia, with the secrets of the mystic arts passed down only to the children of the ruling families. They use magic to keep a stranglehold on the city and the people are dependant on the ruling class for almost everything. Magic powers the lights, keeps the water flowing and provides law and order. The development of magic-free technology is highly restricted and an underground network of inventors and innovators has been in constant conflict with the government since its inception. Many rebellions have been attempted in the past, all have failed, until now. The now available technology finally allows this uprising to be successful and the elite are deposed and hunted mercilessly. The main character escapes execution and hides whilst the people setup their new world order. There was, however, an unforeseen consequence to the uprising's success, the magic that holds the city aloft has begun to fail. The main character must come out of hiding, armed with a combination of modern technology and arcane powers, and re-establish magic in the city to save it. Will she choose to recreate the old world order and keep the power for herself? Or will she share her power with all and build a new, stronger future. The Player would begin the game in the outskirts of the city and make their way to its centre, where the magical core of the city is located. One the way they must navigate through the violent rebel militia and collect magical artifacts that have now been scattered throughout the city.

Cities of Cliff is a 3D MMORPG combined with real-time strategy game elements. The main settings of this game, as the name implied, takes place in cities which are built on cliff sides. The player will take part in the daily lives and the harsh living conditions of the environment. There will be daily weather effects and events such as earthquakes, fogs, landslides, flooding and crop harvesting. Also, the Sky Pirate will attack the city occasionally. Players will need to work together to defend the cities, or raids the treasure for themselves.

The main transportation in Cities of Cliff is the Flying Ships. These ships are also used for battles. The player can purchase and upgrade their ships. The advanced player can also command multiple ships of their own or from a guild. Ship battle is conducted in real-time, which means the player can attack anyone at anytime they want. There are no safe areas.

Resources gained from raiding and battle can also be used to built more useful structures and houses for the city that the player is defending. Or if the player has large enough military power, they can even fund and build a city themselves.

Owning a ship provide certain advantages as the player and their crew can live on the ship instead of cramped cliff houses. This also eliminates the needs to constantly renting and waiting for ship-available queues. However maintaining the ship does cost a bit.

AHH??!? spooky stuff happens all around us all the time and we have no idea how or why? but what if the tables were turned? due to some unfortunate events YOU are the ghost now, go around house by house each becoming progressively bigger and break as many house hold objects as you can, not only break things but write on the walls, make the walls bleed, whisper into baby monitors, rattle some chains and even posses the odd fellow.

as you go through neighborhood to neighborhood you have less and less time to haunt because the folks people are starting to catch onto whats happening BUT there are more available haunt options and more opportunity to get points, points? what for? UPGRADES! buy more and more sinister haunting objects, screaming face in the mirror maybe? a self playing piano? the hauntings are endless. (pretty much be a cat and knock things over and commit many spooky things but actually own up for them)

this game is a level-progressive time based highscore chaser where the main premise is to sp00k the socks off everyone and everything!

You are a private hitman new to the game. You must prove your worth by completing assignments and evading capture from the authorities. As your fame and notoriety grow, you will be hired by bigger, wealthier clients and be assigned more rewarding and risky assignments. However, you will also attract more attention from the law, and it will become increasingly more difficult to cover your tracks and leave no trace of yourself at the scene. You may also find yourself the target of rival assasins looking to reduce their competition. You have the choice of doing the same, however one mistake may prove fatal. You will lose respect if you fail assignments or allow evidence to collect against you, resulting in lost clientele and subsequently less assignments. The objective is to increase your clientele and wealth to the point of edging out all of the competition and being the number one option for a hired gun.

You have taken your pug for a walk and have decided to let it off the lead. However, when you get to the park it is perk dog walking time and there are dogs everywhere. So many that you have lost your pug in the crowd. Aim of the game is to find your pug as quick as possible avoiding various distractions and inconviences.

Distractions and inconviences will try to get in the way of you finding your pug. They will effect both you and your pug and consist of events like: other people calling for their lost dog, bad weather (rain and wind) and other dogs coming up to you wanting treats. These will deter your pug from making its way to you, for example, if they hear someone else calling a name they may go towards the voice.

To succeed in each level, you must find your pug in the crowded park. By searching the park and overcoming the various distractions, simply click on your pug a few times to call it. Once your pug has made it to you, and not been distracted, then you have found your pug and continue to the next level.

Infected is best described as a real time strategy game in which, when you start, you control a single cell as you would control a unit in games like Age Of Empires, but in an environment similar to that of the cell stage in Spore.

The objective of the game is to increase the amount of units you control by overwhelming the other cells in your human host, until you are powerful enough to infect the host and make them sick with whichever disease you decide to play as. Capture happens by overwhelming smaller groups of units, or in the early stages, weaker/vulnerable cells.

The player must strategically manage groups of his infectious cell in trying to overtake other cells, while avoiding the host's cells trying to destroy them. If the player loses all his cells, the player is defeated.

Players can grow new infectious cells through specific breeding cells to aid the spread of their cells, further from capture.

The game can be played online in multiplayer, pitting a human host controlling defending cells and a player trying to infect the host.

///Finite\\\
//Synopsis\\
Finite is a turn based strategy game which details the futility of technology, dabbles in hacktivism, and is a satirical but educational take on the life of a corrupt system administrator. Despite the pursuits of modern engineering, despite the lengths man has come since the stone age, tech still disappoints us and is impressionable. You play a young, starry-eyed sysadmin who just landed their first real job in the industry. With the training wheels off, you try and balance the responsibilities and expectations of your boss, your peers, and your predecessors.

Immortality remains out of reach, for humans and computers alike; Machines break down, the internet drops, data goes missing and corporate espionage is rampant: you are hired to fix, repair, and recover data. Throughout the game, you eventually meet the other sysadmins, who are willing to let you join their secret clique if you prove worthy, and most importantly, are loyal. They operate within the encrypted, unindexed Internet, and spy on companies, governments, and other countries with hopes of annexing the newest technologies and reverse engineering them for their own profit. Players can choose to delve into computer crime, risking everything to get a big paycheck, or remain faithful to the boss, and one day hope to see a promotion.

//Analysis\\
Play with or against other players in multiplayer or challenge yourself in story mode. With the four-player multiplayer, each player either works for competing companies or can team up together to form groups or a single company. However, do not expect to be friends with anyone you play with afterwards, though, as backstabbing, swindling and deception are all viable methods of victory. While dealing with the machine aspect of a sysadmin, the game also deals with the human aspect. Will you help a fellow player out, or will you deceive them? In essence, the game can be utilised as a legitimate learning and research tool for system administrators. They can hone their skills and touch up on their weak areas; troubleshoot and problemsolve real life situations and scenarios, and unlock increasingly challenging and creative trials and puzzles.

"Anima" can mean a few things, but its meaning orbits around an association with the unconscious/inner self of a person.

I got my primary inspiration from Entwined, a beautiful rhythm game developed by PixelOpus. But I wondered if, instead of being given existing forms with an existing story, the player directed the form of the avatar. I got to wondering if it might be fun if you were tasked with hitting a selection of many different colours, perhaps presented like notes on a musical score sheet. The game would be similarly "mystic" with an ambient soundtrack but you start as a formless white light, and each different colour/note you select influences aspects of the fantastical animalistic form that you generate over the course of the game. With a potential for that form to then complete a second half of the game, so hopefully your anima doesn't end up too dissonant and inept.

Based on the theory 'what comes around goes around' you play a high school student who like normal, is running late… As you sprint across roads, down sidewalks and through the park you pass many moral breakingsituations. Depending on the player's response they could gain or lose karma. A loss in karma causes more hindering obstacles traffic jams, roadworks, large crowds blocking the foot path and the odd meteor strike. A gain in karma may cause friends to give you a lift, traffic lights that let you walk immediately, or the gift of super speed. But you've still got to make it in time for school… So maybe it's not such a good idea to help that old lady, or save that poor baby bird.

The aim of the game would be to get to school before 9am. Only achievable by finding the balance between completing enough good deeds to keep your karma high (enough to avoid obstacles) AND ignoring enough situations so you still get to school alive. (Because if you're late three days in a row someone will surely phone your parents)

This balance would be shown in the form of a karma bar at the top of the screen.

This game will be played on a phone or desktop. The objective of the game is to kick a ball, and collect stars with collisions between the ball and star all on a 2D platform. There will be ramps which will create complexity to the game and add strategy to where you will want to kick the ball.

you have a certain amount of attempts to collect all the stars depending on the complexity of the level. once the ball stops moving, or the ball falls off the map, you will have another attempt. If you have run out of attempts you will have to restart.There could be levels which require two people, and you have to pass the ball to another person in order to get the ball further. this will require another move for the second player and once the person has kicked the ball, it will either be the 1st players turn or another players if there is one.

if you collect all the stars, you will unlock the finishing ball, where you will have to kick the ball into a goal which you have 3 attempts to get in. if you successfully get it in, then you progress to the next level.

The game will be a puzzle game. The goal is simple, get to the other side. The only problem is that whichever direction you step you slide until you hit something as the floor is made of ice.Therefore if you step in the wrong direction you could slide somewhere you don't want to be. There will generally be a set way to get to the other side. The levels will get harder as you go and the consequences for sliding the wrong way will get more extreme, eg there could be holes or spikes in some directions. the game could be played on anything with a directional pad or even on a mobile with touch screen, just slide your finger the direction you want to move.

Valhalla: a long hall fit to feed only the greatest of the great when it came to Viking warriors. With endless supplies of all kinds of meat and mead, one could entertain himself until the end of time there. Unfortunately for you, you are not one of these amazing warriors. You are their chef, the head chef at that. Your job is to make Valhalla live up to its reputation as the greatest long hall to ever exist and to deal with some of the greatest Viking warrior's lunch orders. A mistake here is not an option, because what Viking was known for their patience and understanding? Not to mention that as head chef you're the one that has to deal with any and all issues that arise, such as an incorrect meat being served up, food catching fire while it roasts or even the less than occasional drunken brawl.
