playing with ambient effects and simple rhythmic accents
So I renamed my track after adding some parts taken from speeches at the Women's March in Washington.
Usually I do not make political music but this time I have to do so.
Part of a soundtrack for a horror genre exploration game.
Today I worked on a collaboration.
did most of the drums and fx a while ago; did the synths tonight
wanted the main synth to sound like a heavily distorted guitar but meh

Mostly playing with cascading reverbs, delays and pitch shifts in this generative ambient track.
no perc cause perc is hard
no bass either

the working title is "Away" ...
So another ambient track, but in a minimal vein this time. I thought about doing a generative patch, but this was a simple tune that just sort of came together really quickly. Sketched it Live using built in instruments and then used outboard gear to print it to loops/scenes. I am really digging Roland's SE-02. It was used for all sounds in this track. Printing the poly sounds was a PIA, but worth it.

I made a video for my track:
detuned saws and white noise; modwheel on lowpass cutoff (instead of LFO)
recorded once to punch in notes and modwheel, and then "overdubbed" with pitchbend
future-y drop, using flume synth i made yesterday
