Just throwing out ideas and at the end of 52 weeks, I'll see if anything sticks and is worth going back to develop. Some weeks might be bare tracks, and some weeks might be more fully developed songs. Depending on how lazy I am.

It reminds me of an early Replacements track. Fun and catchy "indie" tune :)

Using two different Vocaloids on this. Avanna for the lead vocal, Megpoid English for the harmony.

I only wrote one verse and a chorus for this because I'm lazy. Maybe I'll get around to writing the second verse later.

Using my old Victor Litz Venemans Music Emporium house brand Bradley Les Paul copy. As usual, done with Studio One Artist. Backing vocals - Megpoid English vocaloid.

I thought of the title early in the week but never got around to sit down and write lyrics because I can't stand sitting around for too long to think. It hurts my brain, so I just repeated "pizza" over and over. I'll eventually come up with some lyrics.

Used the Santana SE and a condenser mic (Studio Projects C1) for vocals this time around.

They use to have computer shows that made the rounds every week. I used to love going to them and looking at all the cheap components. Nowadays people just buy computer stuff at Newegg or Amazon.

Recorded with Presonus Studio One Artist and a Rickenbacker 620.

My father used to listen to these really cheesy 1960s pop/rock records from Hong Kong. Looking back on it, I guess they had this kind of cool vibe to them. This is my homage to that period/place.

Used a PRS Santana SE, Presonus Studio One Artist, Megpoid English Vocaloid, Drums on Demand Loops

Lyrics

Mansions in the sky and fancy limousines / but I live in a cage packed like a can of sardines / Hong Kong is hell on Earth for poor people like me / 12 hours a day I am working like a slave / for dinner I'll have a bowl of sadness and pain / Hong Kong is hell on Earth for poor people like me

Late at night I go up on the roof / wishing for an answer to my prayers / but all I get is deafening silence / I'm resigned to my hopeless fate

They're tearing down my home so now I have to move / I never get to call a place my home for very long / Hong Kong is hell on Earth for poor people like me
